I have decided to look into DKNY because with very
block letters, not unlike the ones i have been modelling
this buisness has become a multi-million corporation
with great interest around the world,
All of the products fit in with the logo and the
business as a whole flows.
The main buisness, being fragrance has done really well
and on the front of the packaging in the bold letters,
the "DKNY" logo is found. The brand is really simple
yet extremely effective. Below shows the men's fragrance
and rather than changing anything, they have gone with the
same font and have aligned the "men" part with it. That is
what makes this product highly recognizable and successful
When "DKNY" Started the new range of clothing and
accessories in 1997 the universal brand continued, and as
it is shown on the watch below the chunky letters are
easily recognizable.
-------------------------------------------------------
Sony is another brand that i wanted to look into
because again they have a world-wide brand.
the typography is slightly different to "DKNY" but
its still quite bold and block,
Like other brands they have their company logo
"make . believe" which works really well,
it can be seen as a whole phrase and that makes it
fun but the full stop in the middle makes the company
seem like they make the unbelievable.
Their name is always visible on their products, new or old.
this is why it has become such a big brand and works
so well. Even when they have collaborated with another brand,
-----------------------------------------------------
Playstation is possibly one of the most famous
brands in the world, and this is only because they
have a good brand and good products.
even whilst they are competing with other companies,
such as "x-box" they still manage to do very well.
From the Playstation 1 to the new PSPVita the
font and logo have always stayed the same.
The logo has been developed so that it fits better
with their newer products but it is still very similar to
the older ones. The same font is used which makes
it more universal and more recognizable.
